ADAS Engineer at Ford Motor Company

As an Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) Engineer at Ford Motor Company, I helped develop and setup a Hardware-in-Loop (HiL) system to facilitate validation of all ADAS features such as Hands Free Blue Cruise, Automatic Emergency Braking etc. Implemented software based solutions (in C++ and Python) to integrate vehicle sensors (Camera, Ultrasonic and Radar) and actuators.
I loved being a part of a product based company, contributing towards the launch of new vehicle programs that are used by millions of customers worldwide.
I loved developing engineering solutions that created an impact in the automotive industry!

Worked full-time at umlaut Inc. (Part of Accenture) as a Technical Consultant. I worked on various development and test automation projects, implementing my skills in Robotics and Image Processing.
Published a white-paper based on my work on the fully-automated Intelligent Human Machine Interface (HMI) Test System (iHTS).
Mentored and helped interns and junior engineers joining the company.
Enjoyed the responsibility for tackling complex problems and implementing end-to-end solutions!

Automation Intern at umlaut Inc. (Part of Accenture)

This was a research-oriented internship focussing on the automotive industry. My assignment involved using augmented reality to facilitate testing autonomous vehicles.
Using the game development software, Unity, I introduced a virtual character that could be interposed in a real environment to test the response of autonomous vehicles to real life impediments.
I enjoyed integrating the simulated and the real world!
Technical Intern at Exolloys Pvt. Ltd.
May, 2017 - June, 2017
Explored the end-to-end process of manufacturing textile dyeing machines. Learnt how intricate sub-processes and their impact in moulding the end product based on different industry needs.
The key activity of my internship involved working on automating the manufacturing process using Programmable-Logic Controllers (PLCs).
Understanding the nuances of the manufacturing process was fascinating!

Training on Texas Instruments MSP-430 Micro-Controller

Learnt about MSP-430 micro-controller and worked on a project to setup and calibrate capacitive touch switches using the Ultra Power Saving feature offered by the controller.
